At Golden Star City Resort, having knowledge of all beneficial ingredients of breakfast, we offer a wide selection of Greek and Mediterranean products as part of the Greek Breakfast Program®. Among them are included: the famous pies of Thessaloniki, the famous koulouri of Thessaloniki and, of course, a palette of handmade delicacies edited daily by our executive chef.
Particular emphasis is placed on sleep quality enjoyed by our guests with all rooms and suits offering top sleep systems by the world-famous company COCO-MAT® in order to grant you the best sleep you’ve ever had!

Our fully equipped private g*beach is open during the summer months offering free sun loungers & umbrellas (upon availability), fresh beach towels, change rooms and showers.
The g*beach bar is also open with unique music selections inspired by the breathtaking sunsets of Perea.

Smoke-Free policy
We are delighted to inform you that since 2017 our hotel follows a strict smoke-free policy. With respect to our non smokers and families travelling with young children, all of our rooms and suites feature smoke detectors accordingly.

We reinforce our policy by reminding our guests upon their arrival and check in. Our policy is built on quality management processes (ie. In turn, we respect their needs by allowing smoking in all balconies (4.70m2) and terraces (30.30m2 – 54m2) as well as on our private beach and of course outdoors. Please note that there is a 150 € room recovery fee for guests who decide not to comply with our smoke-free policy. The paid fee will allow us to recover the extensive cost associated with the restoration of the desired smoke-free condition of our rooms.

Lena Papia
Refined, dynamic, social and visionary, Lena took over Hotel Lena and transformed it to an awarded 4-star Boutique Hotel® making it the emblem of Perea and Thessaloniki’s Riviera. She is an active alumna of Anatolia College of Thessaloniki, and has completed a BA in Economics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as well as a Diploma in Hotel & Travel Management in England. Lena always has a new idea on how to keep ahead from the competition and especially when it comes to renovations and interior design. A true business woman, Lena loves to aim high and set new goals for the future. In her free time, Lena enjoys life to the fullest and travels a lot for business and pleasure!
Harris Orfanidis
Energetic, creative and optimistic, Harris blows strong the wind of change at Golden Star City Resort. Having completed a Degree in International Hotel Management at Les Roches, Harris was led to Miami and worked for W Hotel. His valuable overseas experience in combination with the right business genes, inherited from his mother Lena, make him the right fit at Golden Star City Resort. Harris has been around from since he was a child so he is blessed to have a spherical view of most operations and he always has a constructive suggestion on how to make things better. Harris speaks English and has a basic understanding of German. In his free time, he follows outdoor activities and he is a true lover of cars (vintage and new ones!).
Makis Psomopoulos
Performance-driven and extremely motivated with great communication skills, Makis has been multi-tasking at Golden Star City Resort for the past 12 years. After receiving a BA (Hons) in Business Economics and an MSc in Hospitality Management in England, he has worked in award-winning luxury hotels in the Greek islands while has substantial teaching experience as a professor in private colleges. Makis has also completed a Butler Course (trained British style) led by Ivor Spencer (MBE) himself. Intrigued by new challenges, he found his home away from home at Golden Star City Resort where he is in charge of Sales & Marketing but also serves as Duty Manager. Makis speaks English, Italian and some French and he has a basic understanding of Russian. Makis loves spending his free time with his family and he is passionate for fitness and spearfishing.
Konstantina Karagianni
Konstantina first came to work at Golden Star City Resort as an intern back in 2014 as part of her tourism studies at DELTA Vocational Training Institute. Having already completed her BA studies in Finance at University of Macedonia, she felt an unexplainable shift towards the tourism sector and we are grateful for her decision! Her unquestioned talent was immediately recognized by the hotel management and she has soon become in charge of hotel’s Front Office & Reservations department. Konstantina speaks English, Russian, Spanish and also has a basic understanding of French. In her free time, she loves to go shopping, travel around Europe, and unwind at home and enjoy a nice book with a hot cup of chocolate.
George Aletras
Always with a smile and ready for action, George has been around for nearly 20 years making sure that everything works perfectly and nothing is left out-of-date. After received his BSc in Physical Education and Sport Science at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, George has gained substantial experience working in construction before landing at Golden Star City Resort where he is in charge of the Maintenance department. He has also exceled in teaching sports as a Professor in public schools and coaching football teams. George speaks English, is a family guy and enjoys taking long walks with his beloved dog.
